Ongame Network Limited, a subsidiary of Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG and a leading provider of virtual gaming software, has announced that Malta-licensed EuroSuperPoker.com has become the latest to go live with its online poker client.

Gibraltar-based Ongame revealed that the weekend saw EuroSuperPoker.com leave the International Poker Network to join its global online poker network in order to offer its players even more choice.

“We have switched to Ongame’s network because we want to offer our players the possibility of playing in bigger tournaments, better promotions and, most of all, more various gameplay,” said Jonathan Dalli, Director for Malta-based Nuke Limited, operator of EuroSuperPoker.com.

“Ongame is twice as large and has more to offer in live tournaments and cash games.”

EuroSuperPoker.com serves as the official sponsor for the Spanish Poker Championship and has many players in Spain, which is a market numerous operators are monitoring as it could be one of the next jurisdictions to introduce regulated online gaming in the near future.

“We want to have a firm foothold in Spain and are looking to increase our presence in this market,” said Martin Lerby, Head for Ongame.

“EuroSuperPoker.com has a respectable player pool in Spain. So, as well as increasing the liquidity in the short-term, this is also a strategic move for the future.”
